Meet Amber Deming - Owner
Thank you for visiting Simplify Surrogacy! My passion for surrogacy has been the center of my world for the past decade, along with raising a family of my own. After my personal experiences with being a gestational surrogate twice myself (including giving birth to the first baby in the state of Montana with two Dads listed on the birth certificate!), I have worked with surrogacy agencies for about a decade, sharing personal experiences, guiding and educating surrogates and intended parents, and building on my knowledge about the ever-changing landscape of the world of surrogacy.
I understand that not everyone can afford to work with a surrogacy agency. Because of that fact, I have designed Simplify Surrogacy Consulting as an essential and cost-effective solution within the surrogacy process. I’ve seen how crippling costs can prohibit Intended Parents from even starting their journey, and that’s why I am dedicated to assisting my clients and their chosen gestational carriers. Whether you are lucky enough to have a friend or family member volunteer to be your surrogate or you have found someone via an acquaintance or through the internet, Simplify Surrogacy Consulting will help you reach your goal of having a family of your own. I have the contacts, resources, and knowledge to help you help yourself with my reasonably priced packages.
Meet Sharon LaMothe - Consultant
Drawing on a strong background in surrogacy, Sharon LaMothe owned and operated LaMothe Surrogacy Consulting through 2024, contributing to guiding independent matches between intended parents with their gestational surrogates. Prior to this, Sharon’s career involved owning and operating her own surrogacy agency in Florida before relocating to Washington State, where she assisted in changing the surrogacy laws, which were enacted in 2019. Sharon also functions as Owner of LaMothe Services, providing education and tools for new surrogacy agencies and their staff. These roles often involved serving as a liaison for clinics, psychologists, attorneys, and clients, mentoring and team building, assisting with contract content and agreement negotiation, conflict resolution, staff development for ART Professionals and risk management teams, and online family formation and third-party reproduction education. With this varied background, Sharon is very capable of guiding our SIMPLIFY independent clients through the sometimes-overwhelming surrogacy journey.
